I find it very very cute, and photographically interesting and refreshing, quite arising my curiosity about the photographer, ddimaria, and Melissa the subject (and the dummer too).
Once I was told that the biggest challenge for a photographer comes when nothing is happening around. At this point full creation starts. It seens to me that in some sense this thinking is related to ddimaria's work, Melissa.
Who is Melissa ? She can be ddimaria's girlfriend, sister, daughter (yes ddimaria, I hear you laughing now) etc. But for sure she is a person with mutual heart relationship with the photographer. Otherwise this collection of images, perhaps a photo-story by itself, could never been made.
We all have around people we love, yet not all of us have produced such touching collection. The outstanding harmony between photographer and subject further extends to the dummer, making it all a heaven of love and peace, with sensible rythm, natural innosense and clean images. The subject, Melissa, no doubt deserves her weight in gold. Nor the dummer is to forget. But let us not understate ddimaria's eye to magnify his subject, without forcing it to pose.
Given the fact Melissa is close to ddimaria, I would like to thank him for such bold, and intimate gate, he has allowed me to enter. Ddimaria has produced for himself a lasting document he will enjoy as much as the yers pass by and I can only envy.
