Messenger.

i have a billingham hardy pro

Hadley.

should i get another bag? :bang::bang:

No.

I'm not really sure what kind of answer you're expecting, but is buying another $300 bag when you already have a $250 one going to solve any problems? Can you not fit enough in the Hadley? I mean, if you want to spend another $300 on a bag because it looks cool and you want it, be my guest...but then why do you want our opinion?

It looks nice but, a bit fancy for the purpose. I hate drawing attention to a high end bag for travel or street use.
I own one high end bag for the occasions that call for it. The rest of the time use a junky canvas bag or insulated zip top grocery bag.
If the question .... "do you prefer this to the Hadley?"
YES!

. . . . . of the two bags I like the looks of the Brooklyn bag in comparison to the billingham hardy pro.

If you have the cash, buy it, you can always sell the Billingham or Brooklyn bag used once you make a decison or just put a different kit in the second bag. ;)

I have the ONA insert. It's well made. Have a look at Wotancraft as well if you want leather.

ONA are styled too much like a ladies' purse for me.

I can't tell you whether or not to get another bag; this is more a question for joe.

imo the best rf bags are rugged bags that lay close to your body, and for what protection you may want against dings or trauma the extra padding can be provided by keeping things nested in lens cloths. ymmv

hey!!!!
