I am looking for some help on how to read my Leica Meter (metraphot). It came with my Leica IIIf and appears to be of that vintage. It plugs in to the "shoe" and it did not come with the side extension that I have seen in other Ebay auctions for metraphot meters.
Looking at the top of the meter there are 3 triangles on the rotary dial. One is a "double triangle" one inside the other, the second is a triangle outline and the 3rd is a triangle that is solid black. The double triangle points at the slot in the side that must be for the booster scale which I don't really care about because I dont have the booster.
So how do I interpret the other two triangles? Which one do I point at the dial on the light meter when I flip the lever on the side?
This is my first post so please be patient. I also didn't see how to post a picture of the meter.
