^---- +1. Lloyd Chambers is another example. He is a superb gear reviewer. He is technically on-the-ball, methodical and relatively impartial, and unusually good at separating his opinions from his observations. Yet I find much of his posted work to be uninspiring, despite its technical competence and despite the fact that it mainly depicts some of my favorite places on earth. I've paid for his reviews and will likely do so again in the future.

Hi review pretty much mirrors my feelings. I really think they must have rushed the menus just to get it out. After the M9 (all be it a much simpler camera) the menus and options are confusing and badly placed. I wholeheartedly endorse his list of firmware mods and would encourage owners to let fuji know about these

Well, don't forget the VF, that's the key. Add Leica (X1), Panasonic, Olympus, etc to your list.
