Mickey Rooney throws away a camera?

On evilBay: a photo of Mickey Rooney allegedly throwing a "Leica" in the trash. It's clearly not a Leica. Anyone want to venture a guess what it actually is? Obviously, no one on RFF would condone doing what he's pictured doing.

Looks a little bit like a Contax II from where i'm sitting.. either way, that picture is hilarious!

Certainly not a Leica, looks closer to a Contax II, but it could be a lower quality camera of which I'm not familiar
