Micro 4/3 & Sony NEX Porn

When using the M adapter, a Zeiss Sonnar 50/1.5 (Contax RF mount.) I also have a 28/3.5 Color Skopar but haven't tried it yet.

My most used lens is a 35/2 Planar Contax G, it's pretty much always on the NEX.

I have the 28/3.5 color skopar also, and I think it would be a great match with the Nex.

Am I the only one who thinks it's silly to mount these (relatively) big heavy lenses on this tinee, tiny camera?

While one could mount big heavy lenses on the NEX, so far I have favored smaller LTMs such as CZJ 50/1.5, CV 21mm and CZJ 35/2.8 Biometer, all of which are a lot smaller than the Sony 18-55 kit lens. The Canon 50/1.2 in LTM was OK, but a bit overwhelming! Camera balance would definately be an issue with a large zoom, though. I doubt that I will try to put my Canon EFS 17-55/ f 2.8 on the NEX. :D

Although I don't like the looks of the Nex's, they are tempting in order to use rangefinder lenses. Since there is no IBIS and it can't be held up to your face, how are users here avoiding camera shake?

Thanks but I meant techniques such as higher shutter speeds or holding it against the body with the LCD flipped up.

I hold my NEX pretty much the same way that I hold a RF camera- arms close to the body. Same pose, just with the camera about 8 inches in front of my face, instead of directly in front of my eye.

I am patiently waiting boxing to buy a NEX3! I hope I can get a good deal and buy it for me to try my contax G lenses on this body. I watch videos and seen photos from this camera and it is simply impressive!

Pressing my elbows against my sides usually does the trick. When shooting at waist level, you can really get a stable hold be resting the camera and your hands near the sternum. I also use the Clearviewer from time to time, which I really like, surprisingly.

What would the 28 translate to on the NEX? I forget what the crop factor or whatever it's called is. The micro 4/3's are easy because you just double it (although it basically makes any moderate wide angle a portrait lens).

I have the 28/3.5 color skopar also, and I think it would be a great match with the Nex.

This isn't PORN it's a TEASE.

If you guys are showing us this porn can you AT LEAST show us some pictures with your combination!

I think the NEX cameras are pretty much fantastic.
