Micro 4/3rds Pen leak

Can someone please enlighten me? What exactly does "real/serious" photography look like?

I "seriously" photograph all the time with a point and shoot. Quite a few folks I know do?

You know, I always wondered about that myself. To me photography is a mere hobby. Of course I spend huge amount of time and considerable amounts of money on it. I have all kinds of gear and accessories. I have worked on assignments and have been published many times (newspapers, CD covers and artwork, posters, magazines).

But I never asked money for it. I am basically a shy person and asking for money for something I love doing seems... wrong.

Does all this make me a serious photographer? Or because I am a lousy businessman, not?

To come back to your question: People never care what kind of camera you made your pictures with, as long as they like the picture.

2. Many seem to think that this camera is an insult to the Pen heritage. I understand their point: this isn't a digital Pen F. Such a camera would be a lovely thing indeed; for some reason, it seems such a camera can't be made.

Who are these 'many', I haven't seen any posts stating this. Why do you think it is *not* the digital Pen F?

I was speaking to those posts complaining that this camera is nothing like a Pen... it has no viewfinder!

Dig through the thread, they're a dime a dozen. And I'll restate: that's a fine point as well, just one that holds no truck with me.
