Cameras have become so good that nobody really needs a camera from a specific brand anymore. A good strategy is to use what you have.
I do not accept your premise that being critical of, or disappointed with, Leica (or any manufacturer) is disrespectful to Leica or to those who own their products.
It is possible to express criticism and disappointment disrespectfully. The greater the disappointment, the less respectful people tend to be. Of course some are never disrespectful... and they have my admiration.
The release of a new product is trivial compared to the trauma and stress associated with ill health. This goes to Raid's point which is similar to yours... be happy and productive with what you have. Right now this is more practical than ever for photographers.
