Hello, My first Post. Can anyone help with information on how to make the vertical adjustment to the RF image?

Welcome, bmcnew. I do not know the camera in question, but it is possible that the vertical R/F adjustment will be, like that of a screw Leica, at the advance side window. If there is a trim ring, you could remove it and see if there are notches to help in rotating the glass. If the window is not round, then of course this cannot be the way to do it. Be sure not to do anything that cannot be undone. In general, slight vertical displacement is not a fatal flaw.

The Minolta-35 is a copy of the Leica III series but beyond appearance is a fairly free interpretation with hinged back, four drum cloth shutter and a 24x34m film gate. There is a good write up at http://www.photoethnography.com/ClassicCameras/index-frameset.html?Minolta35.html~mainFrame
The RF port does have the slots as described in the previous post but the assembly does not yield so far and the only solvent I have tried is alcohol on the 50's threadlocker.

Will someone please suggest a more likely solvent.
