Minolta 35 Model II

I'm not sure (Jorge would be one to know) but wouldn't it fit under the "Leica Clones" category better than any other? There are a lot of Leica clones, this one probably has just been lost in the masses...
 
I've owned two, one I've shot with. My experience with them was not too good. It produced somewhat hazy images even with modern lenses and I am not sure why. It may be that it had a small light leak, but I never got it checked out by a tech so I am not sure, I just sold it. The other problem might have been a non-standard flange to film distance -- a tech can check and sometimes set this too though.

They are hard to find with good curtains.

I think they are cetainly work pursuing though if you can find a nice one. The bodies are pretty well built like most Japanese RF's of that era, and they are pretty!

The swing open back for film loading is a real blessing as well. I may try another one.
