Minolta AF-2, Given one resently..What to expect?

I know the 7.x series are the top models, but, what where does the AF-2 stand?
It has a 38mm f/2.8 lens, 2 zone AF, ISO 25-400, Onlyl AE exposure. Takes 2 AA bats 😀.
I haven't put a roll of BW though yet (next Week, after I get paid)...
I think the lens is a sharp one, And I will use Delta 400 At ISO 200 in this one to use a small f/stop.

Any sample images, and problems I may encounter? If I like the lens, I may get a CLA, so I can use it without age problems...

I enjoyed shooting with my AF-2 and I had no problems with it. Here are a couple of images from the camera on Ektar 100.

I like mine. You can rid yourself of the infernal beeping by removing the bottom, and cutting and taping off the wires that go to the peizo speaker (round flat brass thing). I had two, but the focus was off on one with the test roll. The other was good. A nice thing about these is they focus in near dark because of the active AF, mirror shots will focus on the mirror though.

Lovely photos.
I shoot BW in film though, but, that Ektar Film is very slide like quality... beautiful colors and details.

I hope I have good one 😉, I won't have film for a few weeks.. I am buying though FreeStyle this time... Arista Premium 100 (Plus-X), a 100' roll for $30.00 shipped.. That's like 40 rolls at 30x rolls. @ $0.75 a roll.😀
