Hello

I purchased a Minolta Autocord from a Canadian seller on Ebay - of course, the listing indicated that the shutter 'seemed to be working.'

I've just received it and the shutter trigger doesn't work (It isn't set to lock.) The film winder seems to actually trigger the shutter.
I'm figuring that the guy won't let me return it (he said no refunds) so I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a reliable repair person? I've read that Mark Hama is a little unreliable these days.

Thanks.

I would recommend Paul Ebel. Highly reliable, and excellent with communication. My one email to Mark Hama convinced me to never give that guy any business.

Paul is a great guy and has lots of positive feedback from happy customers. The downside is he's busy and his turn around time is about 4 weeks. PM me if you can't find his email address w/ a google and I'll forward it to you.

Congratulations on your Autocord. Fantastic lenses on these cameras.

Heard many good things about Paul Ebel from good photogs. I have never used him though.
