Minolta CLE lens historian needed

I have a few questions about the Minolta M-Rokkor 90mm f/4 lens.

1. What were the serial numbers for the production run?

2. What is the two digit number located at the back of the focus ring? (At infinity, it is just above and to the left of the the made in Japan mark.)

3. Did the lens lettering come in any other color except white?

I am not sure anyone knows such details, but just in case... RRF has a surprising membership.

You should try to message Palaeoboy. He is an CLE aficionado and I know he keeps track of serial numbers on CL and CLE cameras and lenses (well 40mm lenses at least). I havent seen him post in a while though.

The serial number on my M-Rokkor 90/4 is 2765xxx, if that helps you to set a range.

The two-digit number on mine, on the focus ring, is 90, which is also the focal length.

Mine has white lettering for everything but the distance scale in feet, which is yellow. It also has a clever red dot for the mounting index.

There is a later version built concurrently with the CLE that has different cosmetics and supposedly a slightly different coating.

Around the lens, in front, mine reads M-Rokkor 1:4/90 Made by Leitz 2765xx, with all of the lettering in capitals.

This number on the barrel is strange for me to !
Mine reads 98 at this place, and the serial number is 2004xxx.
Distance scale in white for meter, and yellow for feet.
Coating is red.
In front around the lens: MINOLTA M-ROKKOR 90mm 1:4 Ø 40.5mm
