Just purchased a 2nd hand Dimage Scan Multi PRO, it came with the original software on CD. But none of the 4 PC I have tried to load it on can read the CD.
Can someome tell me where I can download the software.
When you go to Minolta website and nagaivte to the correct page you get error 404.
There seems to be a few download site, but I have had a bad experence downloading software from one of these sites so I am very weary of using any of them

Can't you just take the precaution of running a virus scan over the downloaded file before using it?
I use Vuescan for my Multi Pro and haven't bothered with the Minolta software.
Usually the trickiest thing is getting your PC to recognise the scanner and install the correct driver. Have you got that sorted?

Join the Minolta Pro user group via a Yahoo account. On there you will find the links you need. Google it.

I'm running on Windows 7 64 bit, so not sure about XP.
If you have any problems drop me a line with your email address and I can email you the driver file over that I cobbled together to get it going.
It's a brilliant scanner, but can be a bit tricky to set up.

It will run fine on XP and indeed mine did prior to switching to Mac.
Are you aware of the set up procedure? If not email me and I'll map it out for you. And don't forget to remove the shipping lock screw FIRST.
