Both of these shots were taken with a Rokkor 55mm f/1.9. It was apparently the standard lens sold with the SRT-100 which was a less expensive, less featured version of the SRT 101. I paid more for shipping than I did for the lens. I find both the build and the image quality first rate.

Rokkors do fine on Fuji XF mount with a simple adapter - no glass. Picked up a 58mm 1.2 a couple of months ago and then a 35-70 3.5. Both work fine.

Had a Rokkor MC 1.2/58mm and a Rokkor MD 1.7/85mm in the classifieds here cheap but sold them thru eBay. Leaving Minolta, currently auctioning off my other gear thru catawiki.com.
Sure nice lenses but I had bills to pay...

Johan, what did you think of the 85mm 1.7? I hear a lot of discussion about the 58mm 1.2, but I rarely see any talk about this 85. (There was also the later 85mm 2.0 that replaced it, but the 1.7 was a robust lens made "the old way.")

Murray,
I liked it a lot. Mine had it's aperture cleaned shortly before I sold it, most of them have an issue with oil migrating unto the blades.
Very well-built and sturdy lens.
An image with the now sold 1.2/58mm that bears a striking resemblance with Roger Lund's:

Shooter of Film...
The only Minolta related item I own is a C.E. Rokkor-X 50mm 2.8 enlarging lens...
So far I'm happy with the results...
Would have loved to try the Autocord TLR but the Yashicamat 124g is what I have and I love it...

I love the xd11, and its a sweetheart of a camera, but out of 3 I bought, only one works - I had a mint black one that was dead and unrepairable... Still sad about that...
OTOH, I'll go dig out my working xd11 and my 50 1.2 (58s sharper, less smooth, cousin) - this thread makes me want a 35 1.8 and 85 1.7 as well
I should probably get a 80-200 APO to go with my beat maxxum 7

I would highly recommend MC Rokkor PF 1.4/58
I use it all the time on digital full frame. It gives wonderful out of focus rendering as well as sharp ENOUGH in-focus details (I am not into pixel peeping).
In general all Minolta lenses are great. Even the cheapest one. They all are relatively cheap, actually, besides few f 1.2 (which you really don't need for digital with good ISO capabilities like Sony A7 for example.
Few years ago I was trying to sell a fully working X700 and set of about 5 lenses with it for $200 here and nobody was interested.
I said “screw it” and left it alone. I am glad I did now..

The 21mm F2.8 MC Rokkor has a floating front element and is a legendary lens.

My 800mm Fll ED-Rokkor MD (400mm f5.6 w/ED-2X) is as good as it gets.

The 21mm F4 QH Rokkor requires mirror lockup. It is one of the rarest MC Rokkors. It has replaced my 19mm Canon for 35mm wide shooting.
Also the 21mm F2.8 MC, which is a beast. Raid Amin has one of these too; See his excellent photos from this lens above ^^^^
This lens satisfies my Jonesing for rangefinder cameras.
