Hi,

I've just posted some images of using a Minolta Rokkor MC 24mm F2.8 lens on a Fujifilm X-Pro1 at here. The images are not tack sharp, but they are quite nice and the keeper rate seems to be higher than a native X-system lens.

With Well Wishes,

Rob

Your pictures are excellent; you've inspired me to try out some manual lenses on the XPro1. I've always enjoyed zone-focused street photography in the past (using film cameras), but have been mucking around with the Fuji 35mm and 18mm AF lenses so far.

I'm thinking of getting one of the Nikon Series E 28mm lenses for the XPro1, just because that lens is fairly light-weight and I think would feel nicely balanced with the XPro1 body. I'm also planning on trying out the light-weight Konica AR 40/1.8 lens. Have you come across any other light-weight manual focus lenses that might be interesting?

See if you can get one of the later ones with the chrome ring around
it, there made a little better than the all black.

Hi Jamie,

Thanks for your kind comments. I also have the Minolta Rokkor 45mm/F2 which is small and light. I'll give that I try next week (if my bad ankle from running holds out).

I've also got the Konica 40mm/F1.8, but only an M43 adaptor. Will have to get a Konica adaptor and see how that one fairs too :)

I'll report back here (or in a new thread) later on.

Rob

Range, thanks for the tip. I'll keep that in mind as I try to keep my GAS-fueled expeditions into the eBay swamp moderated. :)

Rob, I just ordered a Konica AR adapter from the eBay seller "rainbowimaging"... $25, free shipping! I've used their m4/3 adapters and they work fine.
