I've been given this Minolta but as far as I can find out film has not been made for it for many years. Interestingly I see a lot still for sale on ebay and
I've seen expired APS film available on ebay. Does anyone have experience of this type of camera/film ?
Was it any good ?

As far as APS SLR's go it was a decent camera with a lot of sensible features, including battery packs, macro lenses and so on. A system camera in other words.
The film is always turning up on auction sites; stuff stored in fridges is best but the "new in box" ones are usually OK. The problem will be finding a lab that can deal with them.
The bayonet used on the lenses fitted a digital Minolta camera, if I remember correctly.
And I hope you've an instruction book for it.

Thanks David I hadn't thought about the developing part of the process. Silly. It maybe a problem too far.As far as APS SLR's go it was a decent camera with a lot of sensible features, including battery packs, macro lenses and so on. A system camera in other words.

It might not be much of a problem, here (UK) the big chains of one hour shops closed and I guess a lot of small one man and wife shops opened with the processors they sold off. Perhaps a search would find one; probably easier than finding the digital body for the lenses...
