Minox DCC Leica M3

Hi, I'm not sure in which forum to ask this, but has anyone experience with the newer version of the Minox DCC, the mini leica M3 digital replica? A friend is selling one, and I am tempted

I've just been given one by another RFF member - complete in clear wrapped tin box - the camera not the RFF member! The box lid has a 'glass' section through which the 'Leica M3' can be seen nestling in a black 'silk' compartment. It looks very very good, but I wonder if that's the best bit! Hunting for information on the internet leads me to think that whilst some seem to produce quite satisfactory results, other owners think it is nothing but a toy producing worse pictures than most phone cameras. There is another instruction book to read through, a battery to charge, and then I might get round to seeing if it can produce any sort of picture. I think I have read that it has a four element lens so don't hold your breath over the possible image quality.
