I can't find the thread where someone recommended where to buy the replacement prisms/mirrors for the viewfinders in the Certo 6. This mirror is pinkish in color and is translucent. I can't find the right one in the Edmund Optics website. What would you use to cut the mirror?

Edmund optics has the mirror and it is called a "beamsplitter". I think 50% is about right.

You can use a carbide scribe and a straightedge to cut the mirror.

Here is the picture of the prism.

Grab it from a Yashica 35mm RF. I don't recall the exact model now, but one of them was an exact replacement, and usually cheaper than EO alternatives (and, mostly, that I wouldn't trust myself enough to cut some glass without breaking everything). OTOH from one piece you can make several pieces.

I bought a couple of small sheets from The Surplus Shed. I think the two of them cost me something like $5, and I've replaced the mirrors in two cameras (Certo 6 and Agifold). I could probably do a dozen more cameras with what I've got left.....
