Misaligned rangefinder? No.

Stumbled out of the car this morning, the prospect of a day in front of a computer played a part in my R2M flying out of my bag and smacking the concrete, launching itself an inch or so for a second flight and coming crashing down again with a lovely skid.

Oh dear.

Apart from the shutter having fired itself and the eyepiece rubber having torn, all seems fine - including the rangefinder. Thought I'd post this up as there seems to be a feeling that the RF is easily knocked out of whack.

Got some nice scratches/gauges though - the metal underneath the paint is shiny like tin-foil.

That is good news. Even though I have trouble keeping my Bessa R2 in alignment, I would hope the my camera is the exceptional rather the rule.

Yeah, lens cap was on the 35/2.5 classic - it got wedged nicely onto the lens.

I tripped over a kerb while running across a car park last year with 2 cameras, an r3a and r2a, one on the strap on my shoulder and one in my hand, sprawled full length on the concrete pavement, very embarrassing outside Tesco on a Saturday, got a scratch on one winder leaver and a ruined hood, both stayed in alignment
