I ran into a few slightly blurred images the other day. Remember this camera has no stabilization system and with no AA filter I think mistakes are more pronounced...in other words, I think we need good shooting technique and I know my other DSLR cameras probably made me lazy in that regard.
Since I had the 35 on, and the camera sets the shutter to 1/52 in aperture mode...I tried two different ways.
I put the shutter on 1/125 and left the lens ring on A. In that mode the camera chose 2.8 for an aperture and an ISO of 800. I then took one moving the aperture ring to 1.4 and leaving the shutter on 1/125. The camera shot that photo at ISO 1000. All levels in the photos were fine just the change in of course the DOF.
Try it...it seems to work good for me either way but I tend to be a more wide open shooter.
