Just got this developer, mainly for Tri-x and i cant understand the dilution ratios from the datasheet. Can anyone give me advice how i should read the dilutions and also the agitation scheme for Trix 320 and 400.
If i intend to do a mf roll in 500ml solution in paterson tank, what is the chemical and water ratio i should use?

Follow instructions at top of the page. For Tri-X, use 2 parts of A developer and 1 part of B developer and 30 parts water. Agitation: after the first 60 seconds of continuous agitation, do 2 inversions every 20 seconds. (rotate upside down every 20 seconds). The Tri-X 320 is different but if you can learn the routine for the 400, you should be able to figure it out.

Hi Jani,

Let me see:

TriX 400 - exposed at 400:

2+1+30 = 30 ml A + 15 ml B + 450 ml Water

Inversion 60/20/2 means: You invert the tank continuously during the first minute (60 s), then twice every 20 seconds.

TriX 320 - exposed at 320:

2+1+50 = 20 ml A + 10 ml B + 500 ml Water

Inversion 60/30/2 means: Constant agitation during the first minute, then twice every 30 seconds

Hope this helps!

Ok, so 2+1+30 is total 33 parts, for 500ml i should split 500ml / 33parts = 15,15ml ?
2 parts A is 30,3ml plus 1 part B 15,15ml plus 30 parts water 454,55ml, Right?
