Hopefully I'll get a few views here... must spread the word to those who aren't aware!

I just finished watching a British television movie, Monster, and I found it to be quite beautiful...

The movie's about a photojournalist (he shoots a lot... some of the scenes in the movie make you wish that you were him grabbing those beautiful shots) who's tasked with escorting his boss' daughter back to the States from Mexico. However, 6 years prior to the movie, a NASA satellite crash landed near the US-Mexico border and brought back alien beings, which have now "infected" the border area. You can kinda see where it goes from there...

Although it sounds like a tacky alien invasion movie... it felt to me like the alien invasion was just a device to bring out the characters; it took a backseat to the character development in this movie. I don't want to spoil too much, so I'll leave it up to you to find out what I mean!

The movie started off a little slow, and I thought I was about to waste the next hour and a half of my life watching crap, but it was near the halfway point where it really turns around and makes you wonder, think, and doubt... it's at the halfway point where the beauty in this movie shows.

Anyway, I don't wish to bore you anymore... here's a link to the IMDB page, and a link to a trailer! It may seem like a tacky alien movie.. but I feel as if it's worth the watch, I found it to be quite amazing...

I saw this movie last year (IIRC). I thought it was pretty good, a different type of horror movie for sure.
