More Epic Love

The Epic and I got off to a rough start, but it is fast becoming one of my most loved cameras. Digital may be more convenient, but no compact digital can do what the Epic can do. Imagine a full frame digital point and shoot, with an ƒ/2.8 lens, in such a small and light package, and then imagine what the price would be.

Exactly why I love mine. The second thing people say after saying "that's film?!" is "Wow that's so fast!"

No menus, just photography. Brilliant.

Nice pics. What scanner did you use?

Thanks! I use a Coolscan V, scan in multiple passes and merge to HDR in Photoshop. From there, Highlight Compression and a good dose of Curves.

Nice Shot Photogdave..little Cameras Are Good For Getting In Close..in Europe We Call 'em Mju2..i Got 3 But They Are Overshadowed By The Diamond That Is The Yashica T5.
