stupid leica
i don't shoot rf
Are they going to be the same style as what they were a year ago, or like the dumb and ugly new M Grips?
Back in 2007 i had the hardest time getting my FM Grip, as some store in Tokyo had just bought up ALL their stock. I love it dearly and would like another.... or possibly one for my F or F2....
a guy can dream, can't he?

I'd buy several UniGrips if they ever offer them again.

not sure what a "unigrip" is but email eric and ask him your questions. he seems very receptive and helpful.

I actually did, and he promptly and politely told me that they had no plans to make any more. Unfortunate, but they must not have been selling very well.

I've been considering a PhotoEquip grip for my FE, for quite some time. But I just can't get past the plastic (carbon fiber, actually) handle. I've handled one, and I don't like it.
At the moment, there's an eBay seller offering all aluminum, handmade grips, for the same price. This design looks pretty good, aside from the fact that you can't get it off with a coin. Has any one tried one? (Just search for "handmade grip FM".)

I have a PhotoEquip grip on my FM2n and it handles so well. At the same time, I never got used to ML Grip. It seems that Leica body has perfect ergonomics by itself. Go figure..

It does, but sometimes you do need a grip - the 50/1, 75/1.4, 90/2 and 135/4 come to mind. You should try Tom A's grip, I've tried most of them and Tom's is the best by far.It seems that Leica body has perfect ergonomics by itself.
