After doing barely enough Tri-X/XTOL kitchen counter processing to be able to keep from spilling the stop on the floor, I bought a bottle of Rodinal, put some Delta 100 in the camera, went to a rather empty downtown at noon on a very sunny day, shot a bunch of quick walkabout shots at ISO 100, and gave stand development a try: Rodinal 1:100 in 500 ml for one hour. (BTW, a one-teaspoon kitchen measuring spoon equals 5 milliliters.)

Stand development was nice. Gave me time to cook and eat dinner while the film just sat there, being unagitated.

Lots of blown highlights, though. This is one that was rescued in Photoshop:

payasam: I'm unlikely to make a habit of it. Tried it on a whim. Seems marginally more convenient.

Roger: Right. In truth, that was about the only frame that wasn't a bust. Live and learn.
