Time to pass on some more gear. One item per person, at least to start with, and you'll have to pick up said item from Thomas More Square, London (just by St Katherine Docks and Tower Bridge) weekdays between about 10am and 5pm. Remember, these are free but for a little travel time.

Camera bodies are all working but may need new batteries. All lenses are clean with no fungus, minimal or no scratching on the glass, and any dust will be too sparse to affect image quality. Lenses will have front and rear caps of dubious pedigree, but no hoods.

I'll call each item out in turn. First person to claim it in this thread with the correct response, gets it. I'll update this opening post to keep track of who gets what.

Up for grabs are:
  • Olympus OM-2N with 50mm f/1.8 F.Zuiko. Comes in worn ERC. Still has the motordrive cover in place (tuanvinh2000's).
  • Chinon CE-4s with Auto Chinon 50mm f/1.7. Neat little Pentax-K-mount camera.
  • Pentax 300mm f/4 SMC Pentax M* (goes to zuikologist).
  • Pentax 135mm f/2.5 Super-Multi-Coated Takumar (M-42 mount, earlier 5-element version).
  • Pentax 50mm f/4 Super-Multi-Coated Macro-Takumar (M-42 mount, 1:2 magnification).
  • Yashica 50mm f/1.7 ML (C/Y mount).
  • Nikon 85mm f/2 Ais Nikkor (claimed by twhittle).
  • Nikon 105mm f/2.5 Ais Nikkor - focussing action feels a bit dry, but otherwise all working (to lcpr).

So, starting with the Olympus - quis?

Edit: new rules. See here for details: http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2639035&postcount=8

That Nikon 105 2.5 is mighty tempting - and it'd certainly be possible for me to get it from you, I'm only 40 minutes away. But it's unfair to others that I may not be able to pick it up until at least a couple of weeks from now. I shall have to pass it up :)

What a kind thing for you to be doing, especially with such tasty Gear on offer.
Good on you.

Or even on an MX.
Tried that. Not going to try it again.

Ah, well - so much for doing it the traditional way. Damn you all and your comprehensive-school educations for ruining my nostalgia trip. :p

twhittle gets the 85mm. zuikologist, the 300mm is yours (sorry, nickthetasmaniac). LukasB, you're welcome to claim the 105mm anyway. I'll update the OP, and from now everything else is up for grabs (subject to the same collection restrictions) and will go to whoever claims it first in this thread.

Fantastic, thank you. Would be interested to know your experience with the MX. I am in the West End so will coordinate a time to meet.

I can pick up the 105mm if LukasB really doesn't mind someone stepping in before him. I'm based in London so I can pick it up soon.

Cave! Beak alert!

Finally someone who went to a real school! :D

Looks like the 105mm goes to lcpr. No takers for the takumars or the Chinon?

I'll start ferrying items to my office tomorrow. I commute by bicycle, though, so it might take me a couple of trips. Once that's done then we can sort out collections.

Sum.

However your generous offer didn't include anything that would encourage me to brave both Southern Fail and summer in the smoke.
