More pictures out of Japan

The 18mm looks great. I still need to see how this all works, aperture selection, method of stopping down for the shot v illumination of EVF for framing, but I can't see me not buying this.

Oh, so this was released in Japan? Good, that means elsewhere we should meet the late March delivery date.

Looks pretty darn good. I love Fuji's digital colors and I am glad to see they are still cracking along. If I was not already invested in the micro4/3 system I would seriously consider one of these..........then again im not THAT invested in m4/3..... :)

I can't wait to get this in my hands. I've come to find that test photos tell me nothing of if a camera is good for me or not.

Like the colors; I am surprised at the number of photos with veiling flare (35/1.4). There is one image (clock tower) where it looks as if the point of the image was to induce flare, but in the others it just looks like a side effect. I am still intrigued by the camera, but am surprised at this optical effect.

Others reactions?

Agree. This was a definite problem with my X100 which is why I sent it back. My understanding is that this is caused by light reflecting off the sensor back into the lens, which makes perfect sense to me. I hope the X-Pro1 is better in this regard...

For some reason, my M6 and M lenses still perform flawlessly, no surprises, ever. If processing and scanning wasn't so expensive, they'd still be part of my primary workflow, but at about $25/roll for film, processing and scanning, it's prohibitive for general use.
