The photo is a scan of a print and the paper is not my favorit one,
I use it for my work sheets.
Work sheets are the very first look on the negative strips.
When the photo is quite good I print it on a better photopaper.
A paper which fitts better to the subject, I have a huge arsenal of differernt papers, mostly foma. PE and Baryt, small and large.
Some photos need a lot of work finding the best tonal combination of paper and developer, but this is the deal with film, Leica and darkroom.
This is the same situation in color, shot with a ugly mobile camera.
You see there are realy less contrast and no shadows, so the b & w print is not so contrasty and eye catching, it is like it is.
