Hello :
Found this post on another forum and one I have wanted to ask as well.
Is it possible?
If I recall the M3, 4 and 6 were able to do it by holding down the rewind lever as you forward the frame.
I did it occasionally on my M6 and had read online "DON'T WORRY IT ISNT HURTING ANYTHING, only the by-passing of gears" ... I even believe Leitz said this back in the day... I truly, again, want to say it was in the M6 manual.
At any rate, as I have chosen the Mp as the camera of choice (and for life), OUCH!! I could not even complete a stroke without wetting myself from fear from the sound/feel of gears grinding..
I don't believe it is possible. Yeah or Nea?!
Pity as there are many effects that can be achieved in term of expression from it's use.....
no self timer, no double exposures...perhaps I should have gotten an M3..
thanks in advance for assistance.
