It's interesting that the MP is based on the pre-TTL M6. Leica is probably aware of the fact that a lot of people regard TTL flash control as somewhat inappropriate for what is basically a stealth camera. (Actually, TTL flash metering is an anomaly for all-manual cameras in general, including SLRs. The Olympus OM-3Ti has it, but I don't know what else does.) Apparently the MP uses a slightly modified version of the basic TTL meter on the M6 "classic." Anyhow, I'm glad they didn't take the most logical step and base the MP on the M4-P, because then I would have to have one. 🙁
