Mr. B - A friend is gone

No more seeing Mr. B on Flickr!....what a bummer! This saddens me in that I feel like I lost one of my own! RIP Mr. B.

So sorry to hear this. My condolences. Wishing you peace...

Heard pleasant things about him from Igor, all the most positive to you Tom, Igor mentioned you too. ;-)

Regards, John

We should stick Mr. B up as our new RFF banner.

Either way, our condolences, my wife was a fan of Mr. B.

So sorry to hear of this. Truly understand the love bond between man and pet, and the grief when it's broken. Hope to see you and the Missus in Wetzlar next month, and will surely raise a tankard in celebration of Mr. B's rich life.

Thanks all of you for your kind words and thoughts. Mr B might be gone in the corporeal sense - but his spirit sure lives on - and some of his hair still haunts my darkroom. I also keep finding small pieces of film that he carried around upstairs. He would go in search of "trim" pieces when i was not there, chew on them and deposit them in various corners.
Ok, so we can leave a newspaper unattended and not come back and find it shredded, we can even leave a plastic bag on the table (though we still put them securely in drawers) and, yes, we can even have flowers. He considered ANY flower as a snack and would devour them in no times flat - leaving an empty flower pot with short, green stalks only.
Of course, I would trade all of these benefits for him back.

All the best. My dog died recently and I can sympathize with how the loss of a constant companion overshadows the following days. The only positive thing I can say right now is that life will resume it's normal lustre at some point.
