It seems that just about every damn web site I used to go on has become a parade of pop up ads, pop up videos, multiple pop ups that have distracted crap. Thank you My Gandy for keeping RFF pure. What a relief to come back to RFF every day. Thanks again.
Am I the only one?

Right on the button kshapero! Some sites I used to regularly visit have become so infested with promotional material I simply don't go there anymore. The Head Bartender is indeed to be congratulated. TW

And photography sites are among the worst culprits. There are ways RFF could be easier to navigate, blah blah, but I wouldn't trade it.

Most news sites are off the charts with crap crap crap. I'm sticking with my photo sites and some bike forums. News be damned.

This is the singular reason to use ad blockers.

Problem with that is that a new trend is to not let you into the site without disabling the ad blockers, defeating the whole purpose of having an ad blocker extension. POX on those sites!!!This is the singular reason to use ad blockers.

I've no objection to small ads to the side/top/bottom of the actual content, but pop-up ads are annoying.
The answer is if everyone uses adblockers and refuses to go on/join their websites until they don't demand we switch them off. Of course that won't happen because some will be prepared to put up with it.

My compliments as well.. RFF runs well and is delightfully free of excess distraction.
