I casually encountered this video, while searching certain news of my interest:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIWMy4nKK68
It made me wonder: will be there in a not so distant future cameras (video and photo) that capture holograms, which then can be reproduced by a suitable peripheral connected to our computer?
And then digital as we know it will become the next film!
And we will argue that the old digital was more creative and discuss endlessly on digital vs hologram.
Anyway impressing and worth looking at

I checked the title on google, and it seemed correct
Tech me: what is wrong with it (admittedly I am not a trekker)

Well, for one thing, the ST expression is usually "Beam me up, Scotty!"
It's rare that Mr. Spock is running the transporter...

Ah ok, you are right!
I noticed that when I checked with Google.
However, although I am not a trekker, it seemed to me to remember that in, perhaps rare, occasions the Captain gave the command via the communicator directly to Mr Spock instead. Maybe Scotty was with Kirk on a planet and Spock remained in command on the Enterprise
But I might be mistaken.
I am not an expert at all

So because "Mr Spock beam me up" sounds better for me than "Mr Scotty beam me up", I instinctively used the first

Yay! Cameras! 🙈🙉🙊┌( ಠ_ಠ)┘ [◉"]
Never mind the transporter, wonder if we can use the meal replicator to recreate some cameras.

The usual line (which is a misquote I think) is, "Beam me up, Scotty -- there's no intelligent life here!"

Montag006,
+1!
I miss Kodachrome so much!
But you have to replicate E14 too!

As a Trekkie, I have to point out that it’s more like a holodeck. So we should be saying that classic line from TNG:
“Computer, end program.”
It doesn’t have the same ring to it, does it?

When the going was tough, only Spock knew to cross circuit to "B".
Obviously, Spock knew his Shakespeare.

Sorry for not answering earlier.
Yes, it's Scotty who operates the transporter, not Spock.
And this quote has never been used in the series nor on the films.
It was either "Scotty, beam us up" or just "Beam me up" without the Scotty part.
There was one occasion where Kirk says "Scotty, beam me up" but never "Beam me up Scotty" which often is used as that phrase.
Hair-splitting I know.
