I just received my half case for my M6. Very nice leather, fits well and an absolute bargain. If anyone is wondering if they are nice I can say 'definately'.

Which color did you get? I have a black M6 and I am torn between black and brown...

Were the 6-days with the EMS 18$ shipping?

Thanks

Another vote from me for Zhou's excellent personal service and products. The only thing that is cheap is his price (and fortunately nothing else).

I got the black case w/o the asa cut out for my chrome m6. I use a black luigi strap and the shipping was the free standard int'l.

Yes, very good quality but after a while I took it off from my Zeiss Zm camera. It's not that practical when you are shooting film. But that is just my opinion.

I am thinking of getting one of the Zhou cases for my Bessa R2a, make the camera a little thicker and hopefully a little steadier as well.

I have a Luigi case on my Bessa and it made the camera much easier to handle with the extra thickness.

I have a Zhou case for my M5 and I am very happy with it. If I had the money I would have bought two Luigi cases, but the Zhou is still very, very good.

I have four Zhou cases and two Luigi cases. I am very happy with Zhou cases. While Luigi's cases are more elegant, Zhou cases are more practical for shooting. The thumb bump is an excellent design on Zhou cases. I'm looking forward to receiving the Zhou M8/9 case today.

I have one of the original Zhou half-cases for the Bessa R, marked "Rangefinderforum" on the bottom. Fit very well on my Pentax MX as well as the Bessa :) I think the later designs changed slightly and are too tall for the MX.

I've got a Luigi case with grip for my Bessa R3A & without grip for my M6.
Mr. Zhou's cases are on my CL & M7.

If I were to give Luigi cases the full 5 stars, the Zhou cases are a 4 to 4.5 stars. Only a fraction behind in terms of quality, at a fraction of the Luigi cases price.

If you don't mind parting with the money, go with Luigi you'll be extremely pleased. If you go with Zhou, you will not be disappointed at all in the workmanship. Its very good.

I bought a black Zhou case for my M2 about a month ago... unfortunately the day after I ordered it I won a Luigi deluxe case and strap for $100 on eBay... so now I have a brand new black Zhou case sitting on my shelf... now I just have to decide to sell it, or keep it in case I pick up another M2 :)

As others have said, I ALMOST decided to use the Zhou instead of the Luigi for ergonomic reasons, but the Luigi is just so pretty and has a better tactile feel... the Zhou fits like a glove, but the Luigi fits like skin...

people here are saying they use the Zhou on their Bessa's... did Zhou used to sell a Bessa case or are you using the M case on your Bessa R... I tried, but it didn't fit nicely at all.

I used a Kiev case for the Bessa, it works fine and makes the camera a little easier to grip and more balanced.

I've had a zhou half case for my M2 for a couple of years. It's great. I especially like the built in grip. You can purchase zhou cases on the 'bay from Youxin Ye, btw.

I've been waiting for the case specifically for the Bessa, but may look at the Kiev. It looks like the ZI case may work also.
