This is the one I got for the big price of $1 this weekend.
Its lens was loose and I was going to leave it that way
until I popped the camera top off. Just a little looseness
means a LOT of play in everything under the top. I had
to remove the leather to get to the lens assembly to
tighten it up. I used some removeable locktight on the
screws so the lens wont loosen again. Now it is nice and tight
but naked...you cant reuse the canonet covering once
you pull it off. Anyone used Camera Leather.com for
new clothes for your canonet? That red ring lizard looks
very good as does the BR green...I have the light seals
on order.

Rob, I was hoping to find something more torrid and risque than new camera leather on this thread. If a red Gucci editon Canonet floats your boat, then go for it.

Do they really have British Racing Green camera covers? I'm still trying to get accustomed to the V/C Bessa R2 that was O.D. green.

Rob, a good adhesive to ensure that screws don't back out is clear fingernail polish. A drop - or less - on the threads will hold the screw in place while also making it easy to remove if it ever becomes necessary. I've used fingernail polish on large caliber rifle scope mount screws and they don't back out under recoil. It should work nicely for cameras.
