I bought five rolls of Efke 50 to use over the course of last summer. I liked the results I got from Pan F Plus, so I thought I would try another slow film. Efke was cheaper than Pan F Plus, so I thought I would give it a go. When I finally got around to developing the film I liked what I saw. I'm not saying that the film was anything better than the mainstream brands, it just gave me what I was looking for. I should have bought more, but I thought I had plenty of time to order again. Now a tiny violin is surely playing somewhere.
Here are some shots that made me happy. I'm definitely a novice with the PP--I tried my best. Shoot it while ya got it.

The Efke 100 is coming back (as Adox CHS 100 II)... maybe we'll see the comeback of the two slower emulsions too
Those really old single layer emulsion gave a great look!

Lovely shots! I've just discovered Foma 100 which I can highly recommend (you get full film speed in Xtol according to the PDF and my own experience).

Beautiful tonality from the 50. Looks very PanF+ in DD-X actually.

Enjoy Life.
I've still got a 100' roll of Efke 25 and 12 packages rolls of the same I need to shoot. Great stuff.

I'll give Foma 100 a try. I like Foma 200. And maybe I'll give DD-X a try, generally I like Pan F +. I'm getting ready for another Freestyle order here soon.

Beautiful shots with pleasing tonality. I also have been drawn to Fomapan 100, but I should give Efke a try.

I love the look of the Efke/Adox CHS films, especially CHS 25, despite its quirks (soft emulsion when wet, 120 prone to light leaks, curly negatives and the 120 being a bit short resulting in 9 shots a roll for 6x7).
It's good to see that Adox 100 has been resurrected, but I'm really going to miss the 25.

I still have 300 sheets of 6x9cm Adox PL100, and 300 sheets of 6x9cm Adox PL25 in my deep freeze. I use this in my Plaubel Makiflexes.
I also love the tonality of Adox. It's always been a favorite of mine.
