Helen, Keith, thank you so much. You are very kind.:)

For a little different look, here is Aubie from my Nikon FE2 and 50 1.8 lens using Legacy Pro 400:

Our kids grew up.
Our grandkids are growing too and much too busy.
Everyone needs a buddy.
Aubie is ours!

RFF let's see YOUR Buddy!

Really, surely there are RFF'ers with their own little buddies who make life that much sweeter!

Who do YOU have? It would be nice to see the subject of your own affection.

Here's Mimi at 3 months, with my son's toy from approximately 1985--

The best of my three dogs, I got Gizmo from a farm litter. He was the one puppy out of the whole bunch that was not at all concerned with people. He still acts like a puppy, but at 8 years his whiskers are turning grey and he is napping more often. Still, always at my side, ready to enjoy life!

I will probably never procreate, so I consider him my first born furSon ;)

Okay, lil pup-buddies are accounted for. Where are the Big Dawg buds? ;-)

^^Allen, ours come from the same gene-pool (though Mimi is a rescue from San Bernardino). Not just the long hair and serious eyebrows, but I can see the same mottled skin beneath.

Kai retrieves the newspaper in the morning, and the mail in the afternoon -- waiting for his reward....

These are great! I seem to be noticing the common attraction of each, their faces, specifically the eyes are endearing!

A friend of ours dog had puppies and she was the runt. Some other friends got her brother and he is about twice her size and not near as smart.

Her mom is a miniature long hair dachshund and she was a bit promiscuous and we are not 100% sure about dad but the vet seems to think some kind of terrier.

I always had big dogs in the past so this is a new experience for me.

I love dogs too! Our house has never been without a dog, except for the brief but horrible period between dogs.
