My Camera is the Joke of the Town

To be honest, I see more film cameras in the hands of the younger generations. Maybe that's just me, though.
Nope, it's not just you.. i see it on a regular basis. A few hours ago, when i was in downtown Chicago getting my drivers' license renewed, i saw three young ladies walking together, all of whom were sporting well-worn '70s Nikon SLRs. Made the bureaucratic wait-around thoroughly worthwhile..

On the rare occasion that people do chat me up, i usually take it as a sign that i'm not moving fast enough.. :)

LOL!! Perfect! :D

The other day, I was standing in the street in downtown [insert city], minding my own business, when this [insert gender] came up to me and said [insert remark about item] about my [insert item name].

I said to him [insert witty remark] and he went went off in a [insert mental state subject left reeling in].

What do you all think of that?

[Insert seething remark meant to buoy you up and justify your pretend hurt feelings.]

My M's and Voigtlanders are conversation-starters in Vancouver, too, but most folks speak with genuine interest and positive curiousity.

Well, it is Canada. Although you do have some nutjobs, the genuine and positive seems to override those aforementioned cuckoos. ;)
