My Canonet Q17 has a stuck shutter ring..

HI all,

just got my hands on Canonet Q17 GIII, but the shutter ring is stuck at B. I can't turn it and yup, i did depress the knob at the side while trying to turn it but it still wouldn't work. It's just stuck. Can anyone advise on this?

I did some reading online to see if anyone had a similar problem. But it seems uncommon. But i did find that self timers on this camera don't work. And my self timer isn't working too. 🙁

There is a small silver lever (B lock) on the side of the shutter press it and the ring will turn off of B

I've tried that already. But pushing the tab it didn't work.
