My daughter Hilda

Wonderful!!!!!!

I wish you your lovely bride and your beautiful baby girl all the best.
The photos look great, but I love the last one in which your wife kisses your baby.

Congratulations to all of you.... As a happy father of 3 wonderful daughters I know very well what you feel! This little lady will give you so much joy & happiness! All the best, Mauro

Beautiful, beautiful images - I agree with Raid that the last is the best of the set.

Best wishes and hope for the future to mother and daughter, and you too.

Thanks for sharing some of your life here.

Randy

Congratulations! Wonderful photographs! As a father of two girls, I can only say that it is a beginning of a great and fun adventure.

Congratulations!

The happiest day of my life was witnessing my daughter's birth. The high from the moment was intense and lasted quite a while. The memory is strong and even though she is now 35 it was just the other day I was cradling her in my arms.

Enjoy every moment!

lovely, lovely photos.
my daughter is 34 years old, with two daughters of her own. but she still is my baby girl, and always will be ...

wonderful photos, Johan. My best wishes to you both. My daughters are now 17 and 14, but it seems such a short time ago I watched them come into the world.

She is a beautiful newborn!

Lovely images. A lifetime of adventure awaits the whole family. Enjoy it. My daughter is 24 and I have to agree with all those fathers above talking about their daughters.

he he he I also have two daughters!
Some would say:
"When boys grow up to be men, they leave you.
When girls grow up, they care for you."

Add me to the two-daughters set (happily, I might add).

I am going to repeat that quote to my two, they will have a big laugh!

Congratulations to you and Mom, and welcome Hilda! Almost 26 years ago I was in your shoes. +1 to what Johnmcd said. Enjoy every moment, because they grow up fast.

... Enjoy every moment, because they grow up fast.

No kidding, my oldest starts college next Fall, seems like yesterday I was feeding her in the high chair. ;-(

The new dad will be too busy to think about treasuring each moment, but I guarantee a few of them will stick.

Good time to put John Mayer's "Fathers be good to your daughters" on your playlist--especially the one you listen to when you're at the changing table at 3am. I'm very happy in my daughter, now 24, who has always radiated the love and kindness and humor we shared with her since the first breath.

In fact I just found the poem I wrote for her 24 years ago, courtesy of Google Books: easiest to read it though by googling "Robert Hill Long, Sarah 4:30 a.m." And scrolling down. A good poem for an infant daughter if I say so myself.

Enjoy your new life. The heart grows wider and deeper in it.
