I use a Filson bag also with a camera bag insert. Great for the M system.

Brass zip. Might be fine for my very brassed Leica II with Nickel Elmar and especially its FISON hood. Wouldn't want to put my other cameras in and out of there.

Nice setup.

I like using Timbuk2's camera insert (got large and small) with all sorts of non camera bags. They have zipperable lids so you can close that down in transport or under bad weather and protect the gear even if the outer bag isn't really protective from elements.

The insert in my Filson has a zipped top with even a shoulder strap. Plus it is made of a PVC outer coating for bad weather. And BTW the brass zip has not been a problem.
