My first Hasselblad pic ... and a thankyou!

Hassy vs. The Beast

Hassy vs. The Beast

I was happy as a Pig in Stuff with my Pentax 6x7 SuperWide. 45-105-150 lenses. Big negatives. Sweet!

Hasselblad? Don't need no Hasselblad. Nevermind my life long Hassy Lust. I had the Beast 6x7 and 3 nice lenses.

BAM! Out of nowhere a 501+80mm lens falls in my lap. Now what do i do? :D

Sorry Keith. Don't mean to hijack your fun. I'll think of something to do. Or sell something. Maybe have both? A 6x7 SuperWide + Portrait lens. The Hassy for "normal" lens duties?

Just love it ... we can have our own little Hassy admiration society right here ... right now! :D

The shutter that sounded oh so strange when I first got it ... is now music to my ears. Leica schmeica ... what's the point in having a camera you can barely hear? :p

I just picked up the 120mm Makro-Planar CF and another back for mine this week! Gotta think of something to shoot with it today!

congrats on the hasselblad, be warned they are addictive. When film was king, `blads were a wedding photographers camera of choice. I bought mine back in the 1990`s and after brief steep learning curve, it all fell into place. A word to the wise, ALWAYS wind on after tripping the shutter, this ensures the the lens cocked when you decide to change lenses, avoids expensive camera lock ups, don`t ask me how I know.
