This morning I set my M10 to 2/3 under-exposure, and I took some photos at Joe Patti's. I converted DNG files to jpg files without any additional PP done.

Do the images need some "punch" from extra contrast maybe?
the first two photo seem ok on my calibrated monitor, of course according to my personal taste.
The last two photos maybe a little more contrast, just a little.
Do you like them or not?

I like them to be used for some adjustments next, Robert. The light was not strong.

I think when light is not strong no need to underexpose. Just an idea...

Of course you are right. I will do better next time

This is all a matter of personal taste and processing.

This is true. It is a personal choice.

Very good thread!
I could see what M10 ain't different from M9. Same struggle with correct exposure and white balance. Sometimes.
It looks like M10 needs the same in those situations. S16 for exposure and manual selection of temperature for the white balance.

The sunny 16 rule with fine tuning works well.

Joe Patti's Seafood has been my favorite photography place since the 3-mile-bridge from Pensacola to Gulf Breeze (and then to Pensacola Beach) has been damaged and closed.
I drove to Joe Patti's two days ago and very briefly since they don't want people to walk around damaged boardwalks there.
I used the M10 with 75/1.4 Lux. I used LR5 to remove the colors, and then I exported the images as jpg files to post here.

Thank you Robert. We had some rain on that day, and I like reflections.

I tried out my 1937 Zeiss Jena 5cm 2.0 ltm on the M10, which was a bad choice of using an old, uncoated lens with strong sunlight. It was an invitation for strong flare, even with a lens hood. This lens is a great lens for open shade images. I did not use any PP to improve the look of the images.

I've had my M10-P a little more than a year now. Colors tend to be somewhat cool, but can be processed into nice warm colors in Photoshop. But most of my images get converted to B&W.
