Just got a roll developed and I'm freaking happy. Got a lot to learn about framing correctly with these things, but it's much more fun than my digital.

I agree. The Oly RC is an amazing little camera.

Hi Folks. I recently picked up an RC at a Camera Club auction. Put a roll of Fujicolor Superia 400 through it the other day dropped it off at KMart and was amazed at just how good the results were. Colour was great, dynamic range fantastic and all sharp as a tack. I have a lot of cameras including some very good ones, but was really surprised by the output of this little wonder. Olympus certainly made some great cameras. 🙂

Nice work with the camera. It's definitely a different experience, and the little Olympus 35 RC is a great camera, because it has both auto exposure and full manual controls too.

I recently got an RC -- also my first rangefinder!

This one is a bit dirtier and worn than I'd like, but the lens looks perfect, so that's what counts. I would like to clean the rangefinder a bit, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the self-timer screw off..?? Is it a reverse thread? It seems pretty tight either way! Oh well, I might just leave it the way it is. (It's not worth sending off for a professional cleaning.)

Anyway, still working on my first roll of film. I still like the immediacy of digital, but I like the size of this camera, and still being able to keep up the quality level.
