Couples of pics from my first roll with the G2.

Very happy with the camera so far.
I learned that you need to make sure that the focus is on the subject. I got many shots with focus at infinite and subject OOF (ex: pic #4).

My pics are not showing in the post, maybe one of you can help me to post it correctly?

The pictures links are from Flick 'mediums size'.

nice photos
how do you like the camera ?

I like the camera, very easy to get used to it. It feel solid. All the controls seem to be at the right place. Film loading is a joke! You need to be careful to not shoot a 36 exposures too fast...

And the optics look amazing so far; great sharpness and contrast. Bokeh for the 45/2 seem to be good.

I think it ill keep it for a while!

I got my G2 (+ lenses) from a trade for the M6. The M6 was an amazing camera in many aspects but so far I'm happier with the G2 system.

that is a great trade !
i have been debating the contax G for a long time but never had a chance to used one
there has always been something appealing about it

very nice images on the Flickr site.

Try to get your hands on the 21mm. Sharpest lens I've ever used. Not cheap these days but well worth the investment believe me.

I love my G2 so much I have 2 of them along with 21, 28, 35, 45 and 90mm. Oh, and a G1 as a back-up

21mm

P.s. On Flickr go to share>grab the BBcode>post in RF image AFTER deleting hhtp //

Hope this helps

The 21mm lens look very nice but I found that angle very difficult to control.
I think that for wide angle I will stick the 28mm lens for now.

Nice pic by the way!

Sir, have you found it difficult to accurately focus the 90? I'm looking to get one in the next month or so, and some of the internet "wisdom" suggests that it requires multiple attempts for accurate focus. Just looking for info.. thank you, Frank

Same as you, I heard that some have hard time focus with the 90mm. But some seem me to have no problem. Im also thinking geting one the next month and try it myself. I think the key is to look carefully in the viewfinder and make sure that it is not 'blinking' and that the focus distance make sense with the subject.
