Ah, so it *is* a black paint setup. Like it. Is there a colored filter over the left rangefinder window? (The optical block for those who like correct nomenclature.)

I like it, but whenever I see one of these I always wonder why people don't take the time to paint the various knobs and fittings. I mean, you've got the camera apart, why not paint it all?

I generally do not like all-black cameras, but that is very handsome! Per the previous comments, I like the chrome touches very much. They are stylish - probably that's why this camera looks so good to me.

BTW, great looking set. Tthat's what I'm after with my X-E1 and Industar 69. Still need a 40mm or 42mm viewfinder though; EV is still a tad too slow for street photos.

Wait a minute. I-69 on an XE-1? Do you get full coverage? I've been looking at that body and thinking about by digital complement to my film cameras.....digital Leica M or Fuji X with M adapter? Not that use of the I-69 would pull me over the fence, but I'm curious...

Yes, full coverage with very slight vignetting. Very compact on the LTM adapter. I posted some photos taken with the combo in this thread: http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=125679 .
I bought the lens off ebay. Someone had removed the focus stops to allow for infinity focus - lots of how-to's on the web. Just be careful not to unscrew the front element group when out shooting! 😉
All in all, I'm pleased with the results so far.
