So when she orders her's, I'll be ordering my own! I did ok sticking with my Oly 17/2.8 when she got the (better) 20... but I'll be green with lens envy trying to shoot my Sigma 30 when she has a Oly 25 mounted on her camera! :)

Any deals other than the ones from Japan on this lens yet?

Thanks!

Just got mine: Wish it were just a tad bit shorter, but it looks great in silver and handles well even on a small camera; I have a silver E-PM2. Lens is pretty solid--must be high grade plastic because it doesn't look or feel "plasticky." Focusing is virtually instantaneous. Excellent for close up shots: shooting flowers today in Florida. Haven't processed the shots yet.

No deal though . . . Paid $399; lens includes a hood.

Amazon has them for $375 now... slight deal. My GF waiting for check in the mail from one of her writing gigs before she can order. I guess I'm selling my Summicron-R 50 to fund mine. I already have a silver 45 and 17/2.8 so I think I'll get the 25 in silver as well... but I do like black cameras... hmmm. Everything I've read is that it is really a sister lens to the 45 and I'm happy with that. Just went with a rubber hood for the 45 -- faster IMO. Will see how the included (!) Oly hood works. Even if I never use my Sigma 30 again, for the $150 I paid for it, I shot the heck out of it!
