My God the M2 is a work of art!!

Of the modern Leica, the only one that comes close to the smoothness and simplicity is the MP with the 0,58 finder and dead batteries!
Nirvana might be a couple of M2's, 3-4 small, compact lenses and a bag full of Tri-X

Despite my M3 love I just might have to give the M2 another shot.
Or I might just wait for the LHSA MP2 with 0.58 finder.

Funny that you mention dead batteries - my M6 is without for a year now.

Hell yes! The 135 framelines are much easier to ignore than the 75 framelines. And your camera looks really sweet with the M2-style levers.
