My ideal SLR kit

Six Minolta SR-T's (two for high-speed film, two for medium speed film, and two for slow film).

Two Minolta SR-M Motorized pro bodies. No meter. Built like a brick house. 3.5 FPS. FUN!

One Minolta XK, just for kicks. Always wanted one.

98% of the original MC lenses, and 90% of the MD lenses.

All of the original SRT accessories, except for a very very few.

The outfit at which I finally arrived after years of swapping things around was the OM-2n with 24 f2.8, 35 f2, 85 f2, and 180 f2.8 lenses. Took that setup to India, Singapore, and South Korea on a three-week assignment for Compassion International in 1992. It was my last fling with manual focus, because not long after that aging eyes necessitated a change to Canon EOS autofocus. But my love for the OMs remained strong enough to cause me to fall in love with the OM-D at first sight!

Lighter Weight Day Kit.

Lighter Weight Day Kit.

One Minolta SRT101 black body, with original Minolta Eyecup, TomA Black Softie, Voigtlander cloth strap, and hairtie.

35mm F1.8 MC Rokkor lens, with Minolta Uv filter and original shade, and 85mm F1.7 MC Rokkor lens, also with Minolta Uv filter and original shade.

I carry this in a Swiss Medical bag, which I bought at one of the local military surplus stores. Looks about the size of a Army gasmask bag. Throw in some film, handheld meter, and plenty of room for a few other things.
